Project manager Drones at EASA - European Aviation Safety Agency
Ken Engelstad has a degree in international and European law. Before joining EASA in 2008, he worked at the Belgian air navigation service provider (Skeyes) focusing on the Single European Sky legislation. At EASA, he started as a rulemaking officer in the air operations section, then worked as an ATM/ANS rulemaking officer/expert. Since 1 April 2020, he joined the drone section as project manager drones, and acting as focal point for the development of the U-space regulatory framework.
