Kai Lothar John is Chief Technology Officer and Chief Engineer of UrbanATM Systems Engineering at GLVI Gesellschaft für Luftverkehrsinformatik mbH in Hamburg.
He is vice-chair of the Global UTM Association’s Overall Architecture working group.
Kai has been working as a software and systems engineer in the aerospace industry for 15+ yrs. His special interests are real-time traffic analysis, conflict detection and resolution algorithms, and how to run these at the Edge (ATC In Your Pocket). Kai has a degree in Computer Sciences. His hobbies are Ada and Haskell. He owns two pugs and a Raspberry Pi.
