Program Manager for the United States FAA’s UTM
Peter Sachs is a program manager for the United States Federal Aviation Administration’s UTM implementation efforts, where he works on policy development, standards and technical aspects both internally and externally. He previously worked on UTM architecture and risk assessment services at Airbus UTM, where he developed some of the first automated software tools to aid in calculating UAS safety risk. Before that, Peter worked as a front-line air traffic controller in Chicago and San Francisco, where he specialized in radar systems, electronic flight strips, and internal safety assurance reviews.
