Policy coordinator for Strategy and Innovation unit, Federal Office of Civil Aviation Switzerland
Larissa Haas works for the strategy and innovation unit at the Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA) which focuses on Switzerland’s forefront position of disruptive innovation trends in aviation, such as UAS and UTM. In this area, Larissa coordinates and represents FOCA’s interests in international regulatory and policy-making efforts.
She works on the establishment of the first U-space airspaces and services in Switzerland, with a particular view to the coordination with local authorities. Larissa has a Master’s degree in sociology and political science and took further training in the field of managing the impact of technological disruption on society and politics at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
