Drone services and UTM require global technologies. Global standards are the key to global harmonization. They open the way to automation & scalability, and ensure implementation of the rules. Yet the challenge is to make sure that standards enjoy the support of the global industry, cover the complete set of safety requirements; and CAAs accept them.
