System Engineering Manager, Amazon Prime Air
Amelia leads the systems engineering team for Prime Air’s world modeling, path planning, operator interfaces, drone traffic management, and communications services. Amelia started at Prime Air in 2020. Amelia is a lead in the Prime Air Women’s Affinity Group Leaders in Flight and Technology (LiFT).
Amelia has ten years of experience in commercial aviation, ranging from technology integration for experimental flight test, designing low noise and low emissions procedures, and developing global standards for drone communications. Amelia earned degrees in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Oklahoma State University, and a Masters of Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Amelia serves as the co-chair of the RTCA SC-228 Command and Control working group.
Amelia enjoys gardening, and lounging with her rescue greyhound.
