Intel’s Jones Farm (JF) campus is located in Hillsboro, Oregon and began operating in 1982. The work on campus includes chip design, the development of internet communications and video conferencing products, in addition to office work.

Getting there

• By car from City of Portland, via US-26 W highway
• By public transportation from City of Portland (across Beaverton, Aloha, Hillsboro) by ‘Max’ Light Rail and Intel bus
  • Get off at ‘Fair Complex/ Hillsboro Airport’ Max Station for the conference venue.
  • Intel provides shuttle service to and from their campuses and the nearby light rail stations. The service schedule for Jones Farm starts at the Fair Complex/ Hillsboro Airport Max Station at 7:00 AM and the last AM pickup is at 10:00 AM. It picks up at JF3 at 3:56 PM and the last pickup is at 6:59 PM. The service uses 37 passenger New Flyer transit buses with addition standing room as an option. There is signage to indicate they are Intel shuttle buses. Please arrive at the shuttle stop a few minutes early.
  • The shuttle service is open to all Intel employees, contractors, and visitors.

At GUTMA events, interactivity and prompt community input enjoys high priority, and Q&A-s frequently turn into buzzing exchange of insights. To expand this feature, an online interactive stage has been set up for all participants of GAC_2018 to ask questions, post comments to the ongoing sessions live, but also to discover profiles of attendees and speakers, or to organise meetings.

Networking reception

Day 2 of the GUTMA Annual Conference is closed by a Networking Dinner at the KOIN Tower at 18:00-22:00. Transport to the venue from JFCC by shuttle buses as well as food and beverages there are included in the event registration fee of Connected Skies.

For those that are driving cars, here are the directions and options for parking:

• Address: 222 SW Columbia St, Portland, OR (see on map)
• Access to KOIN garage- between 1st and 2nd Ave on Clay Street (construction all around our parking entrance)
• Parking rate is $6 for evenings
• After you park follow the signs to the elevators, you will be on B3 level choose main lobby and it will bring you right to your event area.
• Other parking garages adjacent to KOIN Tower – Crown Plaza and Auditorium parking garage

Autonomous Mobility Summit 2019, June 21, Portland (OR)

Partner event of Connected Skies, organised by Technology Association of Oregon

Bringing together thought-leaders from the public, private, and academic sectors, participants in this invite-only workshop will tackle issues at the intersection of autonomous mobility on the land and sea, and in the air with rapid deployment and evolution of drones and even air taxis. Participants can expect to engage in interactive discussions on topics such as interoperability and standards development, learn from their peers, and contribute to the development of solutions to better integrate aerial, terrestrial, and marine mobility technologies.
