Verizon, Director of Technology Evaluation and Partnerships
Corey Gutshall is a Director of Technology Evaluation and Partnerships at Verizon.
From his position in Verizon’s CTO organization, he explores a wide variety of strategic use cases using new technologies, including CV2X, seeking novel ways to create value with 5G networks and Multi-Access Edge Compute (MEC). He is particularly focused on ways in which tighter integration of the application and network layers can improve performance, enable new products, services, and devices, and maximize the value created by cellular networks. He is a 20 year wireless industry veteran, joining Verizon from Nokia where he led Product Management teams bringing 3G, 4G, and 5G radio infrastructure to market. He brings extensive experience regarding network deployment, operations, infrastructure, and applications from an end-to-end perspective.
