Harmonized Skies 2022: APAC UTM Summit
How can we transport more passengers, cargo, and data by drone?
The Global UTM Association presents the second conference of the Harmonized Skies 2022 series of events: the APAC UTM Summit.
The event will be held online with a strong focus on the Asia-Pacific region. Addressed topics will concentrate on the trade-off between global harmonization and the variety of local requirements.
In the next few years, drones will carry passengers and cargo over longer distances in more automated operations and they will be operated as flying Internet of Things Platforms to transport data. Such innovative applications spur a further wave of automation and digitalization. More automated drone operations require UTM systems. These systems are developing around the world, including in the Asia-Pacific region.
Regulatory frameworks in the APAC region are different from country to country: every state is aware of the global nature of UTM and drone technologies, yet it is difficult to provide harmonized answers. The event's sessions will offer a view on the latest UTM state-of-play in several APAC countries as well as a panel discussion on the need for harmonization.
The event will take place on 12 July 2022 at the following times:
9.00 - 13.20 JST
2.00 - 6.20 CEST
5.30 - 9.50 IST
8.00 - 12.20 AWST
10.00 - 14.30 AEST
All the times indicated below refer to the Japan Standard Time (JST).
