Diana Marina Cooper is the Senior Vice President of Policy & Strategy at PrecisionHawk. Prior to joining PrecisionHawk, Diana led a UAS Practice Group at a leading law firm. Diana is President of the Small UAV Coalition, and she serves on the Advocacy Committee of AUVSI, the Board of Drone Alliance Europe, the Advisory Board of the Energy Drone Coalition, and the UN Working Group on Legal and Policy Frameworks for Geospatial Information Management.
Diana is a member of the FAA DAC Subcommittee and she served on the FAA UAS Identification and Tracking ARC and the NTIA Multi-stakeholder Process on UAS Privacy. Diana testified on UAS policy before the Senate Commerce Committee, briefed the House UAS Caucus on issues affecting the industry, and participated in White House meetings on UAS. Diana is frequently quoted on UAS policy by media outlets, and in 2017, Dronelife.com ranked her among the most influential people in the drone industry.
