We are excited to announce that Harmonized Skies, our annual landmark event, will take place on November 14 and 15 in Dallas, Texas! GUTMA invites you to attend this pivotal event, which promises to be unprecedented for our Association and the broader drone industry.

This year’s edition is particularly special, marking an important milestone for the Association. The high-level conference will span two days, and will be hosted at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regional offices in Dallas, Texas (USA), where the first large-scale commercial operations are currently taking place.

Why attend Harmonized Skies 2024?

The conference provides a unique platform for interaction between industry stakeholders and regulators. It is open to everyone interested in creating the conditions necessary for developing a competitive drone services market. Attendees will include drone product and service providers, national and international regulators and policy-makers, Civil Aviation Authorities (CAAs), Standards Development Organizations (SDOs) and Mobile Network Operators (MNOs).

Why Dallas

Dallas, Texas, is at the forefront of drone innovation. The Dallas Fort Worth airspace is a hub for real-time commercial BVLOS operations supported by various UTM providers. This makes Dallas an ideal location to showcase cutting-edge developments and share practical insights from these operations.

What to expect?

Harmonized Skies 2024 will leverage the rich expertise derived from these operations, focusing on several key areas that are crucial to advancing the drone ecosystem. The event will feature in-depth discussions on topics such as:

  • Global regulations: Understanding the current regulatory landscape and future trends.
  • Scale and sustainability: Scaling and ensuring the sustainability of the drone ecosystem through robust business models.
  • Innovation and ecosystem diversity: Fostering an innovative and open market for UTM and drone services.
  • The “Cost” perspective: Examining the financial aspects and economic impacts of drone operations.
  • Data exchange and governance: Exploring the mechanisms for secure and efficient data sharing.
  • Provision of services: Discussing the various services enabled by UTM and their implications.

These topics will be at the heart of the event’s panels and sessions, focusing on the commercialization and global expansion of sustainable and safe BVLOS operations.
